Across 2019–2025, Year 12: Measurement is examined most (71 questions), ahead of Year 12: Financial Mathematics (55 questions) and Year 12: Statistical Analysis (49 questions). By topic, Ratios, scale drawings and the trapezoidal rule for HSC Maths Standard 2, Annuities, future value and superannuation for HSC Maths Standard 2 and Rates, unit conversions and the unitary method for HSC Maths Standard 2 come up most, with Quadratic models for HSC Maths Standard 2 and The least-squares regression line for HSC Maths Standard 2 also recurring.
