What this site is

ExamExplained is a free, static study library where every guide, every quiz, every explainer is generated by frontier AI and then human-reviewed before publishing. The result is a depth and breadth of coverage that no single tutor and no single textbook can match.

No paywall. No signup. No data leaves your browser. Use it like a textbook you can read for free at 11pm before a SAC.

How we built it (and why it is different)

We pointed Claude Opus, Anthropic's most advanced AI, at every public NESA, VCAA, and QCAA syllabus document, every past paper from the last several years, every published marking guide, and the UAC, VTAC, and QTAC scaling reports. Claude then synthesised that into in-depth subject hubs, deep topic guides, practice question banks, and system explainers about ATAR, scaling, and special provisions.

A traditional tutor can read deeply in maybe three or four subjects. Claude has read deeply in all of them, across all three states. That is the structural advantage of an AI-built resource: comprehensive coverage of every syllabus dot point, current with the latest published data, and consistent in quality across hundreds of pages.

The human review

AI is powerful but it is not infallible. Every page that ships on ExamExplained is reviewed by a tutor from Better Tuition Academy (BTA), the Australian tutoring company that publishes this site. BTA has worked with over 8,000 students across NSW and Victoria, with an average mark improvement of 19%. Our tutors check the AI output for syllabus accuracy, factual drift, and Australian context before it goes live. If we find an error after publishing, we fix it and update the page.

What you won't find

We don't write essays for students. We don't generate model responses to your specific graded school assessments. We don't run a chatbot, because we already did the work for you. Every URL on the site is a pre-built, pre-reviewed study page that is the same for every visitor and ready before you arrive.

Privacy

See our privacy notice. The short version: we track aggregate page views via Plausible (privacy-friendly, no cookies, no individual tracking). We don't collect personal data or accounts. Because the site is fully pre-built, nothing you read here is logged against you.
