VCE results day, VTAC offers and changing preferences (2026 to 2027)
VCE results and ATARs are available online from 7 am on Thursday 10 December 2026 (digital ATAR statements from 9 am on 15 December). Current VCE students can change VTAC preferences until 12 noon on Saturday 12 December for the December offer round on Wednesday 23 December (10 am), which is for current Year 12 students. January round 1 offers follow on 12 January 2027 and round 2 on 27 January.

Some courses close early or can't be added after certain dates. VTAC keeps a list of courses with early closing dates.
Results day: Thursday 10 December 2026
- VCE results and ATARs are available online from 7 am.
- A digital ATAR statement is issued from 9 am on Tuesday 15 December.

After an offer
VTAC's rules:
- If you get an offer, you're automatically considered for higher preferences in later rounds.
- To be considered for courses listed below an offer, move the offered course below the courses you still want before the next change-of-preference deadline.
- An offer isn't enrolment. Follow the enrolment instructions in your offer message.
- If you receive two or more offers at once, accept only one.
Missing the 12 December deadline. You get your ATAR on 10 December and have until noon on 12 December to reorder preferences for the December round.
Using the window well
- Compare selection ranks. Equity schemes and other adjustments raise your selection rank for particular courses, not your ATAR.
- Order by genuine preference, with at least one realistic option.
- Check prerequisites for any course you add, including minimum study scores.
