VCE early offer schemes: how early entry works in Victoria (2026)

What VTAC does

• November offer round (24 November 2026): domestic post-school applicants only.
• December offer round (23 December 2026): current Year 12 students only. This is the first VTAC round in which VCE students can receive offers.
• If you receive an offer in either round, you're still automatically considered for higher preferences in later rounds.

University-run early entry

Several universities run their own early entry programs for Year 12 students. They typically:

• take a direct application to the university, separate from VTAC;
• assess Year 11 results, and sometimes a personal statement, school input or community involvement;
• make conditional offers, for example on completing the VCE, meeting prerequisites or reaching a minimum ATAR;
• often confirm the place through a VTAC offer round, so check whether the course also needs to be in your VTAC preferences.

Examples include La Trobe University's Aspire Early Entry Program and the ACU Guarantee (for 2026, ACU Guarantee applications ran from 20 July to 14 September, with offer rounds on 3 and 24 September). Each university sets its own eligibility, courses and dates, so check its website.
