What you will study

First year covers the business core: principles of management, marketing fundamentals, business economics, introductory accounting, business statistics and a unit on the digital and global business environment. The emphasis is on applied skills rather than the heavy quantitative load of a commerce degree. Second year specialises into majors such as marketing, management, human resource management, entrepreneurship, logistics and supply-chain, international business or business law. Curtin runs industry case studies and group consulting projects, and many students build a second major or minor from the broad business school offering at Bentley. Third year is the capstone year with advanced major units, an industry or community consulting project and electives. Curtin's work-integrated learning lets many students complete an internship for credit. Graduates target graduate programs, marketing and HR roles, and small-business and start-up pathways.
