What student life looks like
The main Bentley campus is a 116-hectare parkland site eight kilometres south of the Perth CBD, with the Edinburgh Oval and Building 105 (the main library) at the centre. Curtin also runs campuses at Kalgoorlie (the WA School of Mines), Midland (allied health and training), and full international campuses in Singapore, Malaysia (Miri Sarawak), Dubai and Mauritius. The Bentley campus has a substantial on-campus residential village (Erica Underwood House, St Catherine's College, Twin Dolphin Hall, Vickery House, Kurrajong Village) and is one of the more residentially active university precincts in Perth. The Curtin Student Guild runs more than 90 clubs and the Tav is a long- standing on-campus venue. Bentley is served by the Curtin bus station and the Canning Bridge train interchange, and the planned Bentley to City train link is being built into the Perth network in the late 2020s. Curtin's brand is industry-connected practical teaching, particularly in mining, surveying, geosciences and engineering, with the Kalgoorlie campus uniquely positioned in the heart of WA's resource industry.
