What student life looks like

Griffith runs five campuses across the South East Queensland corridor. Nathan is the original site, set in 270 hectares of Toohey Forest 12 kilometres south of the Brisbane CBD, and home to the environmental and Queensland College of Art (Griffith Film School moved to South Bank). Mount Gravatt next door houses education and applied psychology. South Bank in the cultural precinct opposite the CBD houses Queensland Conservatorium, Queensland College of Art, dental, design and film. Gold Coast is the largest single campus, on Smith Street near the Pacific Highway, with medicine, health, engineering, business and law (and the only Australian university campus directly served by the Gold Coast light rail). Logan, between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, houses nursing and social work. Accommodation runs through Griffith University Village at Mount Gravatt and Gold Coast campuses, plus residential partners at Nathan. The Griffith Student Representative Council and Griffith Sport run more than 80 clubs and a strong elite athlete programme. Most students commute on the South East Queensland rail or the G:link Gold Coast tram. The Griffith Honours College runs an elite cohort programme across the campuses.
