Bachelor of Social Work

A four-year social work degree at the Gold Coast, Logan and online, with 1,000 hours of placement. QTAC did not publish a lowest selection rank for 2026; the Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) was 74.45 at the Gold Coast in 2025. Assumed knowledge is English.

Lowest selection rank

Griffith has not published a lowest selection rank for this course for recent intakes. That usually means too few ATAR-based offers were made to report one, or that selection also uses a portfolio, audition, interview or other criteria. Check the current entry requirements on the official course page.

Prerequisite Year 12 subjects

No formal Year 12 subject prerequisites; assumed knowledge may still apply.

What you will study

Students complete 1,000 hours of professional practice placements in Years 3 and 4, which must be completed within a full-time load even for part-time students. Online students also complete these mandatory placements.
