What student life looks like

ECU runs three Western Australian campuses. Joondalup, 25 kilometres north of the Perth CBD, is the largest site and houses business, IT, engineering, education, nursing and the Western Australian Police Academy partnership. Mount Lawley, six kilometres north-east of the Perth CBD, houses the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), arts, humanities and education. South West campus at Bunbury houses nursing, education and business for the South West region. ECU Joondalup is on the Joondalup train line and a major bus interchange; Mount Lawley is served by the Beaufort Street and Whatley Crescent bus routes. ECU City, a new CBD campus at Yagan Square, is opening in 2026 to host business, technology and creative industries. Accommodation runs through ECU Village at Mount Lawley and the Joondalup Resort partnership. The ECU Student Guild runs around 60 clubs. WAAPA produces Australia's strongest pipeline of professional musical theatre, dance and acting graduates and is the only Australian institution with a dedicated 24/7 student performance season.
