What you will study

The UC Bachelor of Business is a three-year degree from the Canberra Business School (Faculty of Business, Government and Law). Year one builds business core through Foundations of Management, Principles of Marketing, Microeconomics for Business, Accounting for Decision Making, Business Statistics and the UC core breadth units. Year two carries Organisational Behaviour, Marketing Strategy, Business Information Systems, Operations Management and the start of the chosen major. Year three runs major-specific units plus the Business Capstone (a work-integrated project with an external client, often an APS agency or Canberra-based SME). Majors and minors include Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, International Business, Sport Management (UC has a strong Sport Management program with the Brumbies, Capitals and AIS), Tourism Management and Entrepreneurship. UC is distinctive for its WIL focus - the program includes a guaranteed Professional Internship in third year (mandatory unit, around 100 hours with a Canberra employer). The school is AACSB accredited.
