TCE results day and University of Tasmania offers (2026 to 2027)

Results day

• TASC student results are released on Wednesday 16 December 2026. Results are emailed to the address you registered in your Student Declaration and also posted to you.
• Your emailed results include the ratings you achieved for each criterion, internal and external.
• If something looks wrong, use TASC's Results Query form rather than sending several queries.
• TASC doesn't oversee university entrance. The University of Tasmania, as the tertiary admissions centre, decides which courses count towards the ATAR.

How Tasmanian admissions differ

On the mainland you apply through an admissions centre (UAC, VTAC, QTAC, SATAC or TISC). In Tasmania:

• you apply directly to the University of Tasmania for its courses;
• the University sets the ATAR eligibility and calculation rules, and TASC runs the scaling;
• if you're also applying interstate, you apply through that state's admissions centre as well, and your Tasmanian ATAR is used there.

Early offers and guaranteed entry

• Early University Offer (Schools Recommendation Program). UTAS runs an early offer program for current Year 12 students, assessed on school recommendations and Year 11 results, with offers made in rounds before Year 12 results are released.
• Guaranteed Entry ATAR. UTAS lists a guaranteed-entry ATAR for each course. If you reach it and meet the prerequisites and other requirements, you are guaranteed a place.

After results

1. Check your ATAR against each course's guaranteed-entry ATAR and prerequisites.
2. Accept or respond to any early offer by its deadline. An early offer can be conditional on completing Year 12 or meeting an ATAR.
3. If you missed a course, look at UTAS's alternative pathways, such as assessed entry or preparation programs, before deciding.
