WACE results day, TISC early offers and changing preferences (2026 to 2027)
For 2027 entry: TISC's early conditional offers go out on 5 October and 2 December 2026 (first preference only). The Education Access Scheme deadline for the main round is 5 pm, 27 November 2026. WA ATARs and Universities Admission Advice Letters go online at 8 am on Sunday 20 December 2026, and you have until 11.59 pm that night to change preferences before main round offers on Thursday 24 December. The second round is on 20 January 2027.
Early offers
All five WA universities make early offers to Year 12 students for selected courses (usually not courses with limited places or enabling programs).
- There's no separate application: your first preference in your TISC application is automatically considered.
- For WACE students on an ATAR pathway, universities may use a predicted ATAR that TISC calculates from your Year 11 results, plus Year 12 enrolment in prerequisites. Predicted ATARs are not released to students.
- Early offers are made on set dates: Monday 5 October 2026 and Wednesday 2 December 2026. The universities have agreed not to make them before September.
- Most early offers are conditional, for example on reaching a certain ATAR, meeting English requirements or achieving the WACE. If you don't meet the conditions, you are automatically considered for your other preferences in the main and second rounds.
- The University of Notre Dame Australia also runs its own Young Achievers Early Offer Program, with offers made progressively from September to early December 2026.
Education Access Scheme (EAS)
EAS is for Year 12 students whose senior studies were affected by circumstances beyond their control, such as health, family or financial problems. If approved, it may improve your selection rank. It generally doesn't override English competence or prerequisite requirements.
- Main round: applications and documents by 5 pm, Friday 27 November 2026 (also the final deadline for Medicine and Dentistry applicants).
- Second round: by 5 pm, Friday 8 January 2027.
- Apply after lodging your TISC application; there's no extra fee. You'll need an applicant statement, a school report and a school statement.

Leaving preference changes until after 20 December. You get your ATAR at 8 am and the main round preference deadline is 11.59 pm the same day, so decide your likely order before results come out.
Using your preferences well
- Your UAAL tells you more than your ATAR. It includes the admission requirements advice, such as whether you've met competence in English.
- Order by genuine preference. Put the course you most want first, then realistic options.
- If you missed out, you can change preferences between the main and second rounds, and look at university access pathways and STAT if English competence is the issue.
