Curtin's medicine interview for 2027 entry is a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI), primarily face to face, with rounds planned for December 2026 and January 2027. Curtin lists every MMI date as subject to change or still to be confirmed, so treat the dates below as provisional and check Curtin's page.

What the university says (2027 entry, domestic applicants)

  • Curtin invites the top-ranked eligible applicants in each entry pathway to a Multiple Mini Interview. Your interview date and time are assigned, and Curtin says it is not possible to reschedule to an unpublished date.
  • Interviews are primarily face to face, with limited online interviews where required, for example for interstate or overseas applicants. Curtin says the process is the same either way.
  • Who is invited: the shortlist ranking uses the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) (or equivalent), Casper and UCAT ANZ in the ratio 35 to 35 to 30. Meeting the minimums does not guarantee an interview.
  • How offers are ranked: ATAR (or equivalent), UCAT ANZ and interview in the ratio 40 to 20 to 40. Offers are made through Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC).
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants do not need to sit Casper or the UCAT ANZ.

Dates published (2027 entry)

Curtin's 2027 domestic admissions guide is dated March 2026 and says it is subject to change.

  • TISC applications closed on 30 September 2026.
  • Casper sittings were on 6 August and 13 September 2026. The last sitting is on 8 October 2026 (4.00pm AWST).
  • December round MMIs for Western Australian applicants: 3 and 7 December 2026 (Curtin: subject to change).
  • Mid-January round MMI for Western Australian applicants whose actual ATAR makes them competitive: 7 January 2027 (Curtin: subject to change).
  • Late January round MMI for interstate and overseas applicants, held online: 22 January 2027 (Curtin: to be confirmed).
