What student life looks like

The Bundoora campus is 235 hectares of parkland in Melbourne's north, with the Agora at the centre, the Sports Park stadium and the AgriBio research facility on the perimeter. Regional campuses extend the footprint into Bendigo, Albury-Wodonga, Mildura, Shepparton and the Sydney CBD postgraduate campus. The Bundoora campus is served by the Plenty Road tram (route 86) which ends at the main campus entrance, and a frequent bus network connects to the Mernda train line. Accommodation runs through La Trobe Accommodation Services across Bundoora, Bendigo, Albury-Wodonga and Shepparton, with a strong residential cohort at the regional campuses. The La Trobe Student Union runs more than 80 clubs and La Trobe Sport hosts national rugby and football carnivals. The university has a 60-year history of strong humanities and archaeology programmes, with the on-campus museum of archaeology a long-running fixture. The brand is broad social-sciences and health teaching with a regional Victorian footprint.
