UCAT ANZ 2027 dates: what is confirmed and what is expected

As at 7 October 2026 the UCAT ANZ 2027 dates and fees are not announced. This page shows the confirmed 2026 cycle, the 2027 dates we expect from that pattern, and a change log that updates when the Consortium publishes.

The 2027 UCAT ANZ dates are not yet announced. The 2026 cycle is confirmed: booking opened on 3 March, the standard deadline was 15 May and the test window ran from 1 July to 5 August. We show 2027 dates as expected only, and the dates below are marked that way.

The dates widget below reads from our key dates register, with each date's official source and the day we checked it. A date marked expected is not published: it follows the 2026 pattern, or the official page gives only a month. A date marked confirmed comes from an official ucat.edu.au page, such as the test cycle page, checked on 7 October 2026.

The 2026 cycle (for 2027 entry) in one list

All of these dates have passed. The deadlines were 11.59pm AEST, and the Consortium says it does not make exceptions to them.

  • 16 February 2026: concession scheme and access arrangements opened.
  • 3 March 2026: booking opened.
  • 11 May 2026: the concession application deadline passed.
  • 15 May 2026: the standard booking deadline and the access arrangements deadline passed.
  • 29 May 2026: the late booking deadline and the late access arrangements deadline passed.
  • 5 June 2026: the final late booking deadline passed. No bookings were accepted after this.
  • 12 June 2026: the cancellation deadline for a refund passed.
  • 29 June 2026: free rescheduling ended.
  • 1 July to 5 August 2026: the testing window ran.
  • Early September 2026: results were delivered to universities (the official page gives only the month).
Common trap

Do not mix up the two February and March dates. Concessions and access arrangements opened on 16 February 2026, but booking itself did not open until 3 March 2026.

What to do about 2027

  1. Do not plan around a guessed date. Treat the expected dates as a rough guide to when to start paying attention.
  2. Check the official page every month or two from January 2027, and again before mid-February if you need a concession or access arrangements. The Consortium has not said when it will publish the 2027 dates.
  3. Get the early steps ready. A Pearson account, a concession application if you qualify, and access arrangements evidence all take time. See fees, concessions and access arrangements.
  4. Book early in the window. The Consortium strongly recommends a July test date, because there are very few appointments in the final weeks and rescheduling or rebooking is hard.

Frequently asked questions

When do UCAT ANZ 2027 bookings open?
The Consortium has not announced it. In 2026 booking opened on 3 March, so early March 2027 is our expectation. That is a pattern from one cycle, not a published date, and the weekday has varied between years. The Consortium has not said when it will publish the 2027 dates, so check the official test cycle page every month or two from January 2027.
When is the 2027 testing window?
Not announced. The 2026 window ran from 1 July to 5 August 2026. We list 1 July 2027 as the expected opening and do not estimate a closing date.
Do the 2026 dates still matter to me?
Only if you sat the UCAT ANZ in 2026 for 2027 entry. UCAT ANZ results are valid for one admissions cycle only, so a 2026 result cannot be used to apply for 2028 entry.
